Description
Ladoo Gopal and Radha Rani are two deeply revered figures in Hinduism. Ladoo Gopal is the affectionate name for Bal Gopal or Krishna as a child. Radha Rani is the consort of Lord Krishna which is the expression of pure devotion, love and eternal union. The spiritual bond between the two is seen as the highest form of divine love. These two figures were painted using my photo of dressed statues of the two. I also positioned two diyas (oil lamps) in the arrangement to not only enhance the composition of the painting, but to also give an overall illuminating feel to the painting.
